Julius Baer has hired Stephan Haeberle as regional head of central and Eastern Europe and parts of Africa. Haeberle will also be a member of the executive board, the Zurich-based bank said in a statement.

Haeberle joins from LGT Bank in Liechtenstein, where he has been head of private banking international and a member of the general management since 2006.
