KPMG UK partners score 9% pay increase

The firm cut hundreds of jobs last year as demand for advisory slowed

Partners at KPMG UK saw their pay increase 9% last year amid a double-digit rise in profit for the Big Four firm.  

KPMG said its partners received average payouts of £816,000 in its financial year to the end of September. The accountancy giant posted an 11% rise in profit before tax to £404m in the 12-month period, although revenue grew just 1% to £3bn.
