The trial of Kweku Adoboli, the former UBS trader accused of causing the largest unauthorised trading loss in British history, formally began today.

Adoboli, 32, is alleged to have made unauthorised trades that lost Swiss bank UBS $2.3bn last year. He is standing trial at Southwark Crown Court in London. He denies the charges of two counts of false accounting and two counts of fraud.
