The government is considering whether it can use digital vaccine certificates to permit entry to large events “in significant numbers”.

Culture secretary Oliver Dowden said the government is working on a number of pilot programmes to test the ways in which it could use coronavirus certificates to allow large-scale events for areas such as sports.
