Lexicon Partners, the boutique investment bank, has hired Citigroup's global co-head of financial institutions investment banking, Robert Hingley. He joins six former colleagues who defected to Lexicon last year.

Hingley, who was also co-head of German investment banking at Citigroup, spent 18 years at Schroders, and then Citigroup, which bought the business in 2000.
