Liberty Ermitage, the fund of hedge funds group, has surpassed $1bn (€867m) in assets under management following the recent launch of its global strategy, strategic partners and gold & resources funds.

The three funds collectively have more than $280m in assets under management and their launch coincides with a series of senior hires at the group.
