Hedge fund investors to add stock pickers and cut emerging markets

Almost 90% of investors plan to make allocations to hedge funds in the second half of the year, according to Credit Suisse

Fundamental long/short equity hedge funds remain at the top of investors' wish lists for the second half of the year, while they expect to pull money from emerging markets and commodities strategies.

The top three most sought after strategies are long/short equity, event-driven and global macro, according to Credit Suisse prime brokerage's "Mid-Year Survey of Hedge Fund Investor Sentiment", which was published this week.
