The City of London's annual Bankers and Merchants Dinner at Mansion House has been cancelled in the wake of the Grenfell Tower fire.

A City of London Corporation spokesperson said: "In the light of the tragedy at Grenfell Tower we are cancelling tonight’s Mansion House Dinner. Our thoughts are focussed with the victims and their families and friends."
