Good times at LSE prompt executive pay rises

The three most senior executives at the London Stock Exchange Group have all received salary increases on the back of a strong year, but new rules on bonuses at the iconic bourse have limited take-home pay for 2014.

According to the LSE's annual report, published late Wednesday, chief executive Xavier Rolet has been awarded a 2% increase in his base salary to £750,000, taking effect from April 1, 2015. Meanwhile, chief financial officer David Warren's salary rises for the first time since he joined the business in 2012, by 9% to £465,000, and Raffaele Jerusalmi, CEO of Borsa Italiana, receives a 4% boost in base pay to €500,000.
