Mako Group, the derivatives specialist, has hired Jonathan Century and Andrew Warwick, who used to work for Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM), according to industry sources.

Century and Warwick produced good performance numbers for their Merrill Lynch Global Equity Flows hedge fund until late last year, after MLIM decided its fee potential was too small for its purposes.
