One of Financial News’s hedge fund rising stars, who ran the London office of Canyon Capital Advisors before casting out on his own in 2012, has recruited a familiar face as a partner at his credit fund Makuria Investment Management.

Armin von Linde became a partner at Makuria last month, according to the Financial Services register. He was previously part of Canyon's London team.
