Mark Barnett to leave Invesco after 24 years

Barnett was sacked as manager of the Perpetual Income and Growth Investment trust in April

Mark Barnett, one of the City’s best-known fund managers, is set to leave Invesco after a 24-year stint with the asset manager.

His departure comes after a review led by Invesco’s chief investment officer Stephanie Butcher, the company announced this morning.
