McDonnell and Morgan call for review of Barclays whistleblowing process

Two of the UK’s most influential politicians are pushing for Barclays to address what they call “concerning” cultural issues within the bank, after an extensive investigation by Financial News raised questions about the whistleblowing process at one of Britain’s biggest companies.

John McDonnell, the UK’s shadow chancellor, called for Barclays to immediately conduct a “thorough and independent investigation” into the bank’s treatment of whistleblowers and its culture generally.
