FTSE 100 hospitals group hires ex-M&A adviser as CFO

Mediclinic International, the £6.4 billion UK-listed hospital operator that joined the FTSE 100 index in March, has named one of its former banking advisers as its finance chief, just three months after sealing a merger with Abu Dhabi’s Al Noor Hospitals.

Mediclinic International, the £6.4 billion UK-listed hospital operator that joined the FTSE 100 index in March, has named one of its former banking advisers as its finance chief, just three months after sealing a merger with Abu Dhabi’s Al Noor Hospitals.

Jurgens Myburgh will join Mediclinic as chief financial officer on August 1, the company said in a statement to the London Stock Exchange on May 11. He will replace Craig Tingle, who retires in June after 26 years with the company.
