Meet the typical Goldman Sachs intern

The Wall Street bank asked its temporary employees for their views on the global outlook, working practices and downtime

They want cars by 30 and homes by 40, prefer to ditch the tie in the office, and follow Lloyd Blankfein on Twitter – that is a snapshot of the typical young person considering a move into financials services, according to a survey of its interns by Goldman Sachs.

The Wall Street bank asked more than two-third of its summer interns around the world their views on the global outlook, their use of technology and media and their lifestyles. It published the results on its website this week.
