Merrill Lynch names Pandraud as new chairman for France

Merrill Lynch has appointed Marc Pandraud as the bank's chairman for France a year after Christian Blanc, the former chairman, left to pursue a career in politics.

The bank has also promoted Bruno de Pampelonne, head of debt markets in France, to French country manager responsible for chairing the French executive management committee. De Pampelonne will also become chairman for France of Merrill Lynch Capital Markets.
