A financial lawyer and former FN100 Rising Star, who was one of the youngest inclusions on the 2009 list, has joined KPMG as assistant general counsel for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Misha Patel, who until last week worked in the corporate finance department at Clifford Chance, is due to join KPMG LLP (UK), a UK limited liability partnership and subsidiary of KPMG Europe LLP, at the end of March, according to the accountancy giant.
