Morgan Stanley’s equities unit jumps 51% to cap bumper trading quarter for Wall Street banks

Morgan Stanley’s equities traders posted a 51% increase in revenue during the final months of 2024, pushing the Wall Street bank to one of its best quarters.

The Wall Street bank capped off a lucrative fourth quarter earnings season by beating analyst expectations on the back of a surge in trading revenue.
