Nasdaq Private Market is considering a launch in Europe to take advantage of growing demand for private company share trading.

Chief executive Tom Callahan told Financial News that the New York-based firm has held talks with regulators and other stakeholders in Europe to “scope the opportunity” for a private stock market.
