Timothy Massad, the newly confirmed chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, announced a series of appointments Tuesday as he fleshes out his staff.

Massad tapped Clark Ogilvie, a Democratic staffer on the House Agriculture Committee, to serve as his chief of staff; and Cory Claussen, an aide to Senate Agriculture Committee chairman Debbie Stabenow, as the CFTC's director of legislative affairs.
