Two of Financial News's Most Influential women in European finance are among those named on the New Year Honours List, while there was also recognition for a banker-turned-philanthropist.

Elizabeth Corley, chief executive of Allianz Global Investors, and Anne Richards, chief investment officer at Aberdeen Asset Management, are being handed CBEs for their services to finance. Richards is also being recognised for her voluntary services. Both women have made regular appearances on the FN100 list of the Most Influential Women in European Finance - most recently making the 2014 list in October.
