Newton Investment Management’s head of equity income Jim Lydotes is set to leave after almost four years with the BNY-owned asset manager, Financial News has learned.

Lydotes joined Newton IM in 2021 when BNY affiliate Mellon transferred its equity and multi-asset capabilities across to the asset manager under the leadership of former BNY executive Hanneke Smits. He had worked at Mellon for 14 years before moving to Newton IM.
