One of the most senior executives at UBS Asset Management before his departure last year, is to join Newton Investment Management as it strengthens its own executive bench under a new CEO.

Curt Custard, who led the investment solutions business at UBS’ fund management arm until June 2016, will join Newton as its chief investment officer next week, the company said in a statement.
