The biggest initial public offering in France since Orange was floated in January has attracted strong demand, enabling the advisers to collect at least €90m ($76m) in fees.

The €540m spin-off of Nexans, Alcatel's cable unit, was priced at the top of the €23.5 to €27 range on Wednesday after the deal was more than 6.5 times covered.
