The investment bank has partnered with two cryptocurrency companies to build a custody tool for institutions

Nomura has won regulatory approval on the island of Jersey for a new custody business serving institutional investors in the growing market for cryptocurrencies.

The service, called Komainu Digital, has been granted custodian and depositary permissions by the Jersey Financial Services Commission, according to a notice on the regulator’s website.
