Nomura hires former Credit Suisse fintech dealmaker Orazio Tarda

Nomura has tapped a senior UBS dealmaker to focus on growing technology market share

The former head of fintech investment banking at Credit Suisse, who made the switch across to UBS last year, has left to join Nomura in a senior role.

Orazio Tarda has been named head of technology, media and services for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Nomura, according to a statement from the Japanese bank. He will be based in Milan and report into Patrice Maffre, its head of international investment banking.
