Oslo to offer clearing choice from next month

The move will make Oslo one of the few European exchanges to provide such a service

Oslo Børs, the domestic Norwegian stock exchange, is moving ahead with long running plans to offer a choice of clearing house, a move that will make it one of few European exchanges to offer such a service.

Oslo Børs said it will offer members the ability to process trades through LCH.Clearnet, the international clearing house majority owned by the London Stock Exchange, in addition to its existing provider Oslo Clearing from next month.
