Palmer takes charge of UBS in Europe

UBS has promoted the head of its wealth management business in the UK, Northern and Eastern Europe to head of its investment banking business in Europe.

Jeremy Palmer, a former acting chief executive and head of equities at ING Barings in the late 1990s, joined UBS in 2000 as global head of private clients.
