Pension fund demands answers from Woodford over poor performance

Kent County Council's £5.8bn pension fund is to hold talks with Neil Woodford over a dramatic slump in performance that has seen a number of large investors cut ties with the renowned UK fund manager.

The pension fund's chairman, Conservative councillor Charlie Simkins, will hold discussions with Woodford's investment company in December over what it calls "continued underperformance", ultimately putting £300m of assets at risk.
