Preqin duo among UK’s highest taxpayers after BlackRock deal

The husband and wife owners of Preqin have joined the ranks of Britain’s highest taxpayers after agreeing to sell the UK private markets data group to BlackRock for £2.55bn last summer.

Mark and Lindy O’Hare paid £204m in tax last year, according to an estimate by The Sunday Times. That placed them fifth in their debut appearance on the top 100 tax list.
