Aurelius, a listed German private equity firm, is set to open an office in Sweden as the firm continues to expand beyond its traditional German-speaking markets.
The firm, which owns high-end car stereo maker Blaupunkt, will operate under the name Aurelius Nordics in Sweden, according to a statement from the firm today. Aurelius has hired two executives, Erik Borg and Joakim Notö from Stockholm-based Mimir Capital, to lead its new operation, which will manage the group's activities across Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark.
