A partner and managing director at TowerBrook Capital Partners who specialised in improving portfolio companies has left after two years at the firm.

Hugh Harper, who previously worked at McKinsey for almost 13 years, joined TowerBrook in January 2012 and was tasked with improving the operational performance of the firm's portfolio. He left the firm last month, according to public filings and a person familiar with the matter.
