Royal Bank of Scotland has recruited eight bankers to its debt capital markets sales team in Europe as part of a drive to strengthen its fixed income franchise.

Mike Hardman joins RBS from JPMorgan Chase to co-head the UK credit sales team with Jonathan Bradley, who has played a key role in building up the bank's UK sales effort in recent years.
