One of Financial News's 2015 Rising Stars in asset management has been named as Hymans Robertson's new head of investments for local authority pension funds, a key business line for the consulting group.

David Walker, 35, will succeed Linda Selman, who is to retire at the end of the month. Selman has been at Hymans Robertson since 2008, joining from fund manager Baillie Gifford where she was a client director.
