Rokos Capital Management, the $22bn hedge fund founded by Chris Rokos, is planning to open an office in Abu Dhabi — joining a growing list of financial groups setting up in the region.

The firm is expected to open an office during the first quarter of next year, adding to other international offices it currently has in New York and Singapore. The Abu Dhabi office will be led by Chris Irish, who will move from London to take on the role as head of Middle East, Bloomberg reported citing a person familiar with the matter.
