Rothschild makes another senior appointment to its UK business

His appointment follows that of Lord Mark Sedwill, the UK's former top civil servant, in December

Rothschild & Co has made a senior hire for its UK investment bank as the blue-blooded firm continues to bolster its London ranks.

The bank has named Charles Martin, a former senior partner at law firm Macfarlanes, will join Rothschild as a senior adviser. He spent more than 37 years as an M&A lawyer and will provide strategic advice to Rothschild advisory and wealth management units.
