Russell Investments recruits female chief financial officer

Arrival of former Janus Capital CFO means the company's top two roles are held by women

Russell Investments, the US fund manager, has recruited the former chief financial officer at rival Janus Capital. The arrival of Jennifer McPeek means the top two jobs at the 82-year-old company are held by women.

McPeek, who was finance chief at Janus Capital until its merger with Henderson Global Investors completed in May 2017, will be based at the company’s global headquarters in Seattle. She reports to chief executive Michelle Seitz, and succeeds Matt Moss, who departed in April.
