Schroder Salomon Smith Barney has recruited two people to its UK advisory business, and both will join in September, working predominantly on M&A transactions.

Richard Tory joins as a vice-president on September 4 from Dresdner Kleinwort Benson (DrKB), where he was an assistant director in UK corporate finance. Deals he has worked on include the sale of Orange by Mannesmann to France Telecom.
