The outflow of funds from Schroders, the UK listed investment manager, fell to £500m (€750m) in the year to December, against £2.2bn the previous year.
The firm managed £98.3bn at the end of the year. The improving trend in business flows followed a rise of net retail sales to £4.2bn in 2003, against £3.5bn. Institutional funds saw a reduced net outflow of £4.3bn, against £5.4bn.
