Shareholders have been urged to vote against the re-election of Michael Dobson as chairman of Schroders regarding concerns about the 66-year old’s influence over other board members.

Pensions & Investment Research Consultants, the influential adviser to large investors, has recommended a vote against the reinstatement of Dobson, whose appointment in 2016 angered corporate governance experts.
