Stakeholder pensions embraced by UK companies

Roughly half of the UK's large companies have chosen to offer a designated stakeholder scheme, according to a survey conducted by the actuarial consultant Bacon & Woodrow.

Bacon & Woodrow said that most large companies have already made up their minds whether or not they will be offering stakeholder pensions, and that half of those that would be providing a stakeholder scheme had even decided which provider would be used.
