US investment bank Stifel has kicked off job cuts in its UK investment bank as a drought in IPOs has continued to hit specialist brokers hard.

The job cuts will affect 10-15 employees within its London office, according to people familiar with the matter. The reductions have hit corporate broking, research and UK equity sales, they added.
