The Swedish financial regulator has launched a probe into OMX, the Nordic exchange, just one day after Swedish prosecutors dropped an investigation into Borse Dubai, the United Arab Emirates holding company that last month launched a bid to buy the North European exchange.
The Swedish financial regulator said this morning it had sent OMX a letter demanding answers "concerning the actions of OMX with regard to Borse Dubai."
