Deutsche Telekom is preparing the long awaited €5bn ($4.4bn) flotation of its mobile subsidiary T-Mobile for the second or fourth quarter of this year.
Ron Sommer, chairman of Deutsche Telekom, said in an interview with German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung that the issue was most likely to come in June or November. He said: "Telecoms stock exchange listings on this scale can only take place in June or November. Other dates are not permitted by the stock market calendar. We have started preparations."
