The growing backlash against ESG investing is justified, according to a wide-ranging survey by Financial News — a sign the sector may have peaked in popularity amid greenwashing concerns.

Nearly 60% of respondents polled by FN ahead of COP28 said that criticisms against the green investing industry are justified.
