Top Citigroup banker Drury leaves to take CIO role at AI firm Poolside

The Citigroup lifer is departing after 30 years for a role at an emerging technology firm

One of Citigroup’s top dealmakers is leaving the bank after nearly 30 years to move to a technology firm that works in the AI sector.

Philip Drury, who is currently global head of Citigroup’s technology, media, communications and fintech team, is set to leave the bank to become chief investment officer at tech firm Poolside, according to people familiar.
