Top pay for Pimco Europe director falls 30% to £20.9m

Remuneration for the highest-paid director at the European arm of bond giant Pimco fell by almost a third in 2012 compared with a year earlier

Remuneration for the highest paid director at the European arm of bond giant Pimco fell 30% in 2012, according to documents filed with Companies House, despite an overall rise in pre-tax profits for the business.

The unnamed director received £20.87 million in the year to December 31, 2012, 30% less than the £29.96 million the highest paid director was awarded in 2011.
