Trading places: Citi taps JPMorgan for M&A head, former GAM chief resurfaces

Citigroup has continued to poach senior dealmakers from JPMorgan, this time turning to Guillermo Baygual as co-head of M&A globally. Baygual is a 26-year JPMorgan veteran, who left in June and was latterly global co-head of the infrastructure and strategic investors group.

Perella Weinberg has taken on Mathijn Queis as a partner within its European technology team. He joins from rival boutique Evercore, where he was a managing director.
