Trading Places: Deutsche’s investment bank head comes out of retirement, Piper Sandler picks Credit Suisse trio

The former co-head of Deutsche Bank’s investment bank was hired by industrials firm Standard Industries as chief financial officer a month after retiring from the German lender. Mark Fedorcik was named CFO of Standard Industries, a privately owned New York firm with around 20,000 employees.

Barclays poached John Kolz from Royal Bank of Canada to be its co-head of global equity capital markets as the UK bank looks to bolster its presence on Wall Street. Kolz will lead the business alongside Tom Swerling, with both reporting to Travis Barnes and Tom Johnson, global co-heads of capital markets.
