HSBC promoted its top banker in the Middle East to lead its sustainability team as the UK lender continues to reshape its senior leadership under new chief executive Georges Elhedery. Julian Wentzel, who currently leads HSBC’s global banking team in the Middle East and North Africa, has been named interim head of sustainability.
